Saturday In The Park

In A New York Minute

over rides … “Saturday in the ‘Park”, … & ‘It’s just a game!”

… it’s just a game that changes in seconds, not even minutes!

Below are snap photos of Game 4 – NBA Finals – Score & Time

A PICTURE (PHOTO) PAINTS 1000 WORDS!

Game 4 – The most important Game in the Life of Victor Wembanyama.  So far, until now, to this date June 10, 2026, absolutely.

Saying you are prepared because you played in the Olympics is naive.

Yes, bigger than Olympics, much more important.

Global .  Yes global consequences.  Many … … .

June 9, 2026 – Victor Wembanyama quote:    “… … …we must remember,  it’s just a game.”

No,  Mr. Victor Wembanyama it is much more than JUST a game.

If it was just a game to you, ok, Sir.  That is your PREROGATIVE.

However,    I respectfully beg to take a different perspective in disagreement with your statement.  It’s much more than a game..

Billions of dollars are made by this ‘Game’.

Life changes (permanently) for many people due to the outcomes of these ‘Games”.

You would not be making an income of hunsreds of millions  of dollars, if it was “Just A Game”

GAME 4 NBA Finals – Final Score of the GAME!

San Antonio Spurs: 106

New York Knicks: 107

That was more than Just a ‘game’ in NYC on Wednesday.

Game 5: Saturday June 13th, Location San antonio , Texas, USA /

Best of Seven Series now: NY Knicls 3 games – San Antonio Spurs 1 game.

Question for Mr. Victor Wembanyama: Is Saturday just another ‘GAME”?

If it was just a game, we wouldn’t cry when we win, and cry when we lose, now would we?

See Presetation; “Sometimes We Cry”

If, Mr. Victor Wembanyama, if you meant to say, and express in your interview answers, that a game of basketball is not as serious as a war, bombs and starvation in the Congo.  Well, then, we have a basis of agreement to discuss.  It isn’t harmless in its outcome but not nearly equal to such catastrophes, true.  ( See Below Video: Ukraine Bombing map in one day, yesterday.  … … that is not just a game, true.)

Note: what is this? I haven’t noticed this new trash talking  method in Wembayama’s previous games.  Is it recently acquired … not sure it is effective in the long term, not very smart court play.  Works better in the NYC Park Game, I’m sure  …

Note:  Song: ‘In A New York Minute’, by Don Henley

… lyrics …” ( in New York )   the wolf is always at the door.

Unfortunately some San Antonio Spurs basketball players want to pet the wolf and do not believe the wolf can be harmful … … .

The new era of young coaches who believe they have re-invented the game are numerous in the NBA..

It would be difficult to argue that the way the game, in the current day NBA,  is now played is that it is even the same game played only a few years ago.

However, the new NBA coaches math is not a formula for success.

It lacks basic principals,  not exercised by most players.  This becomes exposed in Championship NBA basketball games.

As we learned in our space program, if you are going to build rocket ships to travel to the Moon or Mars, all of those geniuses highly educated young  men and ( and women) of great scientific mind and engineering design also require the expertise of the old School Professors.

It still took three four (4) thirty years old space engineers with Doctorate degrees to equal the practical knowledge of an old professor of advanced age.

.. ….  the teaching only acquired from experience and the wisdom of age can not be replaced , nor duplicated.

This applies to the young under 40 NBA head coaches.

Nevertheless, anybody can get ‘out foxed’ and beaten on any given day.

The math applicable for the above theory.

[(35+35+35+35)

is actually less than 65,  by a lot ..]

Yes, this is the secret NBA math

Spurs’ Victor Wembanyama spotted ‘drawing a statue’ in Gramercy Park ahead of NBA Finals Game 3
Spurs’ Victor Wembanyama spotted ‘drawing a statue’ in Gramercy Park ahead of NBA Finals Game 3

7-foot-4 Spurs star Victor Wembanyama was spotted in Manhattan’s private Gramercy Park, according to video posted on Instagram on Sunday.

The 22-year-old Frenchman was spending time before Monday’s Game 3 of the NBA Finals “drawing a statue,” according to the clip posted by Visitour Media.

The statue in Gramercy Park is of Edwin Booth, the Shakespearean actor whose brother was John Wilkes Booth, the man who assassinated Abraham Lincoln.

After the Spurs won Game 3 Monday night at MSG, Wembanyama was asked to rate his drawing.

“Not bad. Pretty good,” he said.

Keys to Gramercy Park — which sits south of Lexington Ave. between 20th and 21st Streets — are reserved for residents who live right along the park, members of the National Arts Club and Players club, or members of the Brotherhood Synagogue or Calvary-St. George’s Church. Guests at the Gramercy Park hotel, which is set to reopen this fall after renovations, can also get keys.
